The short answer
Commercial cleaning is quoted per site and frequency rather than from one universal hourly rate. CleanSL8 currently publishes starting bands of £320 per month for a small office under 500 sq ft, £580 per month for a medium office or café, and £950 per month for a large office or restaurant.
The confirmed price depends on floor area, toilets, kitchens, frequency, consumables, access and whether the clean happens during or outside operating hours. A site quote is more useful than comparing headline hourly rates.
What the service can cover
The commercial service covers work areas and communal spaces, kitchens or breakrooms, toilets, waste removal and consumables restocking. Cleaning logs and compliance-ready products can be included where the site requires them.
Out-of-hours availability is part of the published service, so the schedule can be built around staff, customers and opening times.
What to confirm before appointing a cleaner
Ask who is responsible for keys and alarms, which areas are in scope, how consumables are replenished, what happens when a cleaner is absent, and how issues are logged. Put the agreed frequency, access window and standard in writing.
CleanSL8 describes monthly invoicing as the default, with standard 14-day payment terms and a VAT invoice available on request. Confirm the final commercial terms in the quote.
