Regular clean, in plain English
A regular clean maintains a home that's already at a decent baseline. Surfaces, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, general tidy. Typically 2-3 hours for a 2-bed, once a week or fortnight.
Deep clean, in plain English
A deep clean brings a home back to that baseline in one go. Inside the oven, behind appliances, descaled bathrooms, dusted skirting boards and door frames, cleaned light fittings, behind furniture, inside cupboards. Typically 5-9 hours for a 2-bed.
How to choose
If it's been more than 6 months since a deep clean — book a deep clean. If you're on a regular schedule and it's just week-to-week upkeep — a regular clean is enough. Moving in, moving out, or after a party — deep clean, always.
The maintenance rhythm we recommend
Deep clean twice a year (spring and autumn), regular clean weekly or fortnightly in between. It's the cheapest way to keep the standard up — a deep clean every 6 months is far cheaper than an emergency reset after a year of drift.
